FuNiu on the news: FuNiu and her adopter interviewed by media after the opening of a Chinese movie

Global Animal Protection

FuNiu, a female husky, was rescued by GAPI from the dog detention center in Shanghai at the age of one. Later she was adopted by Vicky Sun, a local animal lover. Recently a Chinese remake of the classic 1987 Japanese film "Hachiko Monogatari" went live and has already grossed more than 200 million yuan (US$29 million) at the box office since it opened late last month and has been selected to compete at the 25th Far East Festival in Italy.

FuNiu and Vicky received an media interview related to the film regarding abandoned animal adoption, as the film suggested that audiences adopt animals rather than buy them in pet shops. The interview link is attached below. Most importantly, FuNiu's lovely photos are on the news too!
